Caldecott and Newberry Award Winners 2010
The children's book awards given by the American Library Association have been announced, including the Caldecott, Newberry and the Michael L Printz Award for Young Adult Fiction.
The Caldecott winner was awarded to Jerry Pinkey for The Lion and the Mouse.
The Newberry award was awarded to Rebecca Stead for When You Reach Me.
The Michael L Printz Award is for outstanding young adult fiction, and was awarded to Libba Bray (A Great and Terrible Beauty) for her new novel Going Bovine.
